Our meal came about 15 unites later and the food was mediocre at best. The waitress replied " well, that is how the bartender made them " and took them back and never brought new drinks. Ten (10) minutes later the waitress proceeded to bring over that same tray with the wrong drinks and we told her that they were still wrong. The manager came over and said he will fix the order. I told here that if that was in fact our drink order, then 2 of the drinks were the wrong drinks. After 45 minutes I went to the bar to find our waitress and she said they were almost ready and she pointed to tray. The appetizer ( 1 small scoop of guacamole and 4 tortilla chips ) arrived after 10 minutes. We promptly ordered drinks and an appetizer when we were seated. We went to Lindey's with another couple to sit outside and have a cocktail, then dinner. We were never asked how the food or service was by anyone. You should not have to ask for a manager, the manager should have known and been out and about paying attention. It's too bad two staff members made a lovely evening much less so due to their attitudes and complacency. No apologies no taking anything off of the bill or comp. There were tables available.The waiter (probably) or the kitchen screwed up and put tuna where tofu should have been and took over 20 minutes to return the dish to the table.I should have asked for a side of tofu and scraped it off myself. was not happy when we asked to move since she seated us next to a very loud group away from the water, despite my request to be at a quiet table near the water. The host couldn't smile apparently (it was 7:30 pm, the restaurant was NOT very busy.slower night) and. The food is really good.we are vegetarians and once the order was prepared as requested, it was excellent.
The location is superb and the restaurant is nicely done.
